Aside from writing screenplays, scripts, jokes, roasts, and depressingly crippling social commentaries — Evan also writes editorial, copy, and works often as an editor.

King skate magazine
From 2011 to 2016, Evan served as a writer, columnist, and editor at Canada’s national print skateboard magazine, King Skate (formerly known as King Shit Mag). Eventually promoted to Editor-at-Large, he oversaw all aspects of writing, interviews, production, design, and print. You can still find this publication at finer skate shops all over Canada and the United States.

movie entertainment magazine
For several years, Evan had a featured monthly column in the Bell Media magazine Movie Entertainment, a print publication that distributes 350,000+ copies across Canada. Called “Life in the Past Lane”, the column put a spotlight on themes of old films in a unique and humorous light. Stop looking at me, swan.
