Going In (feature)

Going In is the first feature film written and directed by Evan Rissi. Starring both Rissi and producer Ira Goldman, it’s currently available in Canada on AppleTV, Amazon Prime, Google Play, and Cineplex — and in the US on Tubi, Roku, and others. More options can be found HERE. 94 minutes.

 

Going In was recently featured in The Globe and Mail and reviewed on Original-Cin and That Shelf, among others. It has played in Toronto at historical theatres such as The Royal Cinema, The Revue, The Great Hall, and The Paradise.

 

Going In (short)

Written and directed by Evan Rissi in 2016, Going In is a proof of concept made to accompany a crowdfunding campaign for a feature length. Raising over 40,000 in funds, it was featured in The National Post, Complex, CBC, and more. 7 minutes.

The gold paddle (short)

Filmed in 2015, The Gold Paddle is a short film written and directed by Evan Rissi. Set in the fictional town of Lune Lake but featuring the very real Freestyle Canoeing, this mockumentary is currently being developed into a series. Full film link available upon request. 21 minutes.

 
 

SKY’s LIMIT (short)

Sky’s Limit is a short mockumentary written, directed, and edited by Evan Rissi for Thrasher Magazine. Shot mostly in Vancouver and starring skateboarders Skylar Kehr, Rob ‘Sluggo’ Boyce, and Bob LaSalle, it features the real perils and esoterica of professional skateboarding. As an accompaniment, Jenkem Magazine conducted an an in-depth interview alongside cinematographer Alex Doyle . 12 minutes.
